Ryan Burns is a Philadelphia based acoustic performer who promotes worldwide via YouTube. Ryan began playing guitar at the age of 17 and quickly began accumulating a diverse group of songs for live performances. He has performed in concert halls with crowds as large as 1000 people for charity events, as well as a variety of bars and restaurants in several states. Ryan’s interesting selection of music sets him covering Van Morrison’s “It Stoned Me” along with Jamie Foxx’s “Blame It” featuring the love-it-or-hate-it autotune effects. Ryan focuses on learning today’s Top 40 hits as well as classic rock and 90′s alternative. He pushes himself to not be bound by genre’s when choosing a playlist for his live performances.
“I realize that the songs that are on the radio today are what people listen to. They are the songs people know. Don’t get me wrong I love classic rock and all the great music that is associated with that era, but why not play the pop, hip hop and R&B songs heard on the radio today as well? And what’s even more fun is mixing the two genre’s together and surprising the crowd. I love the look on people’s faces when I throw ‘Remix to Ignition’ over the Temptations ‘My Girl.’ For me, it’s all about playing the unexpected” – Ryan

Thank you for your help!
Hey Ryan,
Would you be interested in joining an original band?
I’m part of an alternative rock band in the South Jersey/Philadelphia area, and we’re looking for vocal talent. We have several songs written, but are open to any material that you have.
You can check out a couple of our songs on our myspace page (we’re listed under “Red Spectrum”–the unofficial one).
E-mail us if you’re interested.
Thanks,
-Mike-
I’d prefer you email me to discuss more. Thanks
